19 weeks & what have I been up too.... :)

I had my second sonogram yesterday and all is well with the Baby Girl. She was calm and shy all at the same time. She wasn't really in to being on camera, unlike the first time (She was bouncing all over the place). This time she stuck her foot to the monitor and waived. Then rolled over and stuck her butt to the camera.

Me on the other hand.... I have been doing some crafty things. My niece's birthday is coming up soon and I am making all of her birthday things (cupcake toppers, banners and favor party bags) It's the least I can do since I can't go to Georgia to be there to see her turn ONE! After all of that is finished, I will start cleaning out my "craft room" to make a nursery. I also have been on a hair bow kick- I figured I'd better learn to make them now and all the ribbon sitting in the bucket I have is useless right now, so I've been extra crafty here lately. 

I have a theme and things are underway. I can't wait to have it all put together. I am counting my blessings right now with the pregnancy. The sickness has slowed down and doesn't come around too much anymore and I haven't gained too much weight yet.. (I'm sure that will change) 

 Today, however I found out I am now employed with the San Angelo District as lead teacher for Head Start!!! Super, SUPER excited about that. I also found out that the curriculum we used when I was in Trenton with Pre-k is the exact same curriculum I will be teaching my Head start Kids! :) Such a relief and just am so excited to finally be underway. Things have really started coming together. I start work or training in 2 weeks. I can't wait. It will be such a nice change for me. Keep us all in your prayers. GIRL...GIRL..GIRL....WE ARE HAVING A GIRL!!!

I'm a little excited. We went to the Doctor Monday, first sonogram and all is well with mommy and baby. Turns out I am almost 16 weeks. I was about 2 weeks off but that's quite alright. Baby Girl will be due December 24, 2012. Looks like a lot of early birthday parties to come. Poor thing won't stand a chance between birthdays and Christmas. Anyhow next appointment July 30 and we will know more. I'll keep you all updated. Here's our first pic of Baby Girl.

Married Four Months... Pregnant for Three...... WHAT ?? ♥

Well you read right. Jordan and I are turning our new Mr & Mrs in to Dad and Mom. Come December, baby Russell will arrive. We are very thrilled and excited. Unplanned for sure and a bit shocked BUT We have decided God obviously had a different plan for us and we are here to embrace it. On another note. Marriage has been great. Love my husband and couldn't imagine a more perfect father for my child. A lot has been happening around here and other places. My parents finally sold their home in Florida, which was my home for 18 years and as sad as I am to see the house go, I couldn't be happier for them to embrace their new journey to Georgia. I am lucky to have such wonderful parents. I will be able to fly to Florida here in the next two weeks for one last trip "home" and I can't wait. I will keep you posted with baby updates and Life. Just continue to keep us in your prayers for a healthy and safe pregnancy.

So I may be a little Early.... but I ordered cute and simple Easter cards to send to family and friends. I am excited. It has been beautiful weather here in Texas and things are going great.

One Month Down

WOW! Time really does fly. I can't believe I have been married a whole month.

Seriously though, it doesn't even feel like we had a wedding. Looking back on it, I think to myself, all that arguing and planning and stress was for what exactly? It has come and gone and life is great.

For those of you who didn't know. We went to Savannah,Georgia for the first part of our honeymoon. We stayed at the Hyatt, which I recommend for anyone. It was amazing and they were so nice to us. Of course when in Savannah, visit Paula Deen....Hey Y'all!!! =) The Lady and Sons was on our list. It was just good home cooking. Jordan and I really enjoyed it.

Also, Savannah is the town where the movie Forest Gump was filmed. Jordan is a big fan. So we walked to Chippewa Park and took some pictures. However the bench that Tom Hanks sat on, is not there anymore. It is in a museum. Figures!

We left Savannah after two days and headed to Shreveport, Louisiana. Longest Drive ever! But worth it.

We stayed at Sam's Town hotel and casino. It was a gift from Jordan's unlce. Had dinner, saw the town, visited Bass Pro and won 300 dollars from a quarter slot machine.. =) Oh yeah Great Trip. We had a great time.

Now its back to life and work in Texas. Jordan and I have a cute 2br/2b apartment. Of course I've been in decorating mode. It is only a half mile from the Fire Station so it's super nice not having to get up at the crack of dawn for him to go to work. I am subbing a lot for a few schools. I will be back in school by May and then it will be on to find a permanent job. I will be happy when that time comes.

I am really happy with life and things going on right now. Also excited for upcoming events this year.

My maid of honor, Ashley is getting married July 20. I started selling Thirty-One on the side and have had great success with it. I am planning to go to their conference in August with Martine.

Christy Russel is pregnant and expecting in October and Jordan and I are flying to Atlanta for Thanksgiving to drive up to the Smoky Mountains with the family!!! SO VERY EXCITING.

I am going to make it a goal to update my blog more often. I love hearing from you all and miss everyone at home in Florida. So plan a vacation to TX.

 Call us crazy, but we also celebrated our first Valentine's Day together as a married couple. We stayed home though because we were just tired of being on the go. We watched Lady and the Tramp on the New Edition Blue-Ray and I made Spaghetti for supper. It was a great night.
